Questions people ask

What size storage unit do I need for a 2‑bedroom?

A 10x15 holds our typical 2‑bedroom list whole, by our 3D packing. A 10x10 takes 68 of its 73 pieces.

How tall is a storage unit?

Most are 8 feet tall inside, and some facilities have 9- or 10-foot ceilings. Ask before you rent: a taller unit fits more boxes on top.

How big is the door?

A 10-foot-wide drive-up unit usually has a roll-up door about 8 feet wide and 7 feet high, but some open lower, and units off an inside hallway can have a door only about 4 feet wide. No big storage company publishes its door sizes, so measure your sofa and ask.
